Upper Serangoon
Boathouse Residence
Dark timber slats run the full double-height wall, holding the room together across two storeys.
Interior design in Singapore, since 2019.
Eleven completed Singapore projects. Every photograph below is a room we built.

It felt transactional. I knew I wanted to do things differently.
One project planned entirely around a collection — glass-fronted vitrines running wall to wall, every shelf individually lit and dust-sealed. It is the work most firms will not take on, and the reason clients come to us.

New keys or an old flat — planned around how you actually live, then built to fit.

Larger footprints, tighter tolerances. Stone, glazing and joinery detailed to the millimetre.

Backlit vitrines, collectors' walls, wardrobes. The thing our clients come to us for.

The rooms that get used hardest — laid out first, specified for wear, not for photos.

Walls moved, thresholds redrawn, storage found where there was none.

Lighting, soft finishes and the last five percent, so you move into a finished home.

Floor plan, keys date, a rough idea of the look — whatever you have. We'll come back within one to two working days.
You'll speak to Kenny Lee, who founded Beyond Design in 2019 — not a call centre. First consultations run 1.5 – 2.5 hours; bring the floor plan and everyone who'll live there.
